Nasty cold bug
One of the goals of my blog is to show that we can keep Leuk from robbing the time we have. That we can live a normal, though somewhat different, life. Many will beat him and live long lives, others may check out early, but either way, we must push through our worries about the future.
What ever time we are given belongs to us. We are not the leukemia. When we catch a cold we don’t let it define us, we just say ‘I have a cold’. The cold virus is not who we are. Well it’s the same with Leuk… although he’s one hell of a nasty cold bug.
Hello Jim, I don’t know if you remember me…you and I talked a few times after my husband was diagnosed with AML in 2013. What a crazy ride we have been on. I’m so glad to see you are still blogging. Please email me so we can chat 🙂
Hello Darla!
What a strange coincidence. Another reader, Richard Swift, recently wrote a comment on my blog asking if I was still writing posts. I had gotten away from it and his ‘kick in the buns’ got me going again. So last night I was talking to my family about previous readers and told them about you and that I was wondering how you were doing. Then just a few hours later you sent a new comment.
I’m having a bit of trouble with my email but will get to you on that as soon as it is solved (hopefully in a few days). In the mean time, feel free to communicate via comments on this blog.
It’s good to hear from you again.
Hi Jim, I am apparently yahoo mail illiterate bc I have no idea if I actually sent you my last email or if I just sent it to myself….
Oh well, I am so glad you replied! I’d love for us to chat…are you on Facebook??
Hi Darla. I think I missed this last comment of yours. I’m so sorry. I like to respond right away to the comments I get. I don’t know how this one got away from me. I hope you and your hubby are doing all right. How is he?
Hi Darla. I finally have an email address for this site. You mentioned you’d like to have it. It is jim@meandleuk.com. I hope all is going well for you and your husband.
