Reconnect with friends before the flowers bend

It’s been literally years since our Vision band friends played together. I think our last year was 2008… wow, 15 years!

Life got busy and we all sort of disconnected as friends often do when they no longer have a common goal. We’re still good friends but just let life take over.

Well, we’ve all decided to get back together and play our music, maybe not as an official gigging band, but as good friends just getting together to enjoy fellowship.

Who knows, we might wind up playing a charity gig or two. But mostly we all just want to reconnect.

You know, it is real easy to let life slip by. We humans seem to act as if we have all the time in the world. Well, we don’t.

Paul Simon expressed this false sense of immortality when he wrote:

And so I’ll continue to continue to pretend, my life will never end, and flowers never bend with the rainfall.

So take a look at your life and what you miss from your past, then find it again. Leuk is always lurking in the background. Let’s not waste the time we’re given.
